This Committee considers design patent, trade dress, and copyright laws, rules, regulations and judicial decisions applicable to the protection of industrial designs.
Key Initiatives
- The Committee monitors design patent, trade dress and copyright laws, rules, regulations, and judicial decisions applicable to the protection of industrial designs.
- It also monitors new legislation pertaining to the protection of industrial designs, advances ways to strengthen the predictability and enforceability of industrial design rights, and reports recommendations to the AIPLA Board of Directors.
