Since the Spring of 1999, I have (a) served as a mediator, arbitrator, or testifying patent expert in patent cases and (b) consulted about copyright litigation (after having previously had a fairly robust copyright litigation practice first on behalf of Broadcast Music Inc. and later on behalf the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers while I was at Arnold, White & Durkee). I taught a course in copyright law at South Texas College of law for a few years (many years ago).
