Mediation of patent, trademark/trade dress, trade secret, copyright, and related disputes. Lisa has over twenty-five years of experience registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, serving diverse small and large entity clientele in both in-house and outside counsel roles and handling a broad range of intellectual property matters. She has served on both sides of the bench, as a Temporary Judge for the San Diego Superior Court since 2013 and as lead counsel before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and in multi-district court trademark litigation (including supporting roles in district court patent litigation and AIA trial proceedings). Her interest in resolving disputes efficiently and effectively led her to pursue training in mediation and collaboration. Lisa is admitted to the State Bars of California, Minnesota, Montana, and Wyoming, as well as several federal courts, and willing to mediate cases internationally, in-person or virtually. She is also an invited member of the World Intellectual Property Organization List of Neutrals. She regularly serves as a volunteer fee arbitrator for the State Bar of California and San Diego County Bar Association.
