I served for 18 years as a Magistrate Judge in the Central District of California, where I presided over hundreds of motions and trials involving patent, trade secret, trademark/trade dress and copyright issues. I also served as the President and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Judge Paul R. Michel IP Inn of Court for many years and am actively involed in the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Assocation. Currently, I serve as an Arbitrator, Mediator, Special Master and Discovery Referee in IP matters.
