USPTO “Motion to Amend” Patent Quality Chat
Written April 8, 2019
The United States Patent & Trademark Office will host its next Patent Quality Chat webinar, entitled “New pilot program for motions to amend in AIA trial proceedings,” which will be broadcast on April 9, from noon to 1 p.m. ET.
The Patent Quality Chat webinar series is a part of the USPTO’s efforts to improve patent quality. Hear about the new pilot program from Deputy Chief Judge Jackie Bonilla and Lead Judge Jessica Kaiser, both from the USPTO's Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), and how this program gives users opportunities not only to receive feedback from the PTAB about a first motion to amend, but also to file a second motion to amend based on that feedback.
The webinar is for all AIA trial practitioners. No registration is necessary to attend. More information, including how to attend, is available on the USPTO event page.
