The US Patent & Trademark Office is hosting a “Boardside Chat” webinar on Thursday, August 8, 2019, from noon to 1 p.m. ET about recent updates made to the AIA Trial Practice Guide. Vice Chief Judges Mike Tierney and Tim Fink will present.
Topics covered will include: factors that may be considered by the Board in determining when additional discovery will be granted; use of the Phillips claim construction standard; submission of testimonial evidence with a patent owner preliminary response; motion to amend practice; procedures to be followed when a case is remanded; and more.
