Amend, James M.

James M. Amend, Esq. brings over 40 years of intellectual property experience to his JAMS practice, including seven years as Chief Circuit Mediator for the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  In that capacity, he mediated over 500 cases involving appeals from claims of patent infringement and counterclaims for patent invalidity, inequitable conduct, and unfair competition arising nationwide from U.S. District Courts, the International Trade Commission, and the U.S. Patent Office.

These matters spanned a diverse set of technologies, including computers, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, mechanical inventions, industrial processes to name but a few.
