Bauer, Stephen

Steve recently retired from Medtronic.  During his twenty years at Medtronic, Steve was Senior Legal Director - International IP and IP Policy, Chief IP Counsel – Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure, and Lead IP Counsel Neuromodulation.  Prior to that he was IP Counsel at 3M representing various medical device businesses and handling numerous IP transactions, particularly medical device acquisitions and divestitures.  During 2018-2020, Steve served as Co-Chair of the IPO International Patent Law and Trade Committee.  Steve continues to be active in the IP profession, particularly as a member of the AIPLA IP Practice in China Committee and as a volunteer for the Intellectual Property Owners Association.
