Breslin, Patrick

Pat Breslin, CEO of Breslin Consulting, is an economist and expert in IP damages, valuation, and economic and financial analysis. He has 25 years of experience in litigation and other dispute resolution contexts, in multiple country jurisdictions.  IP types valued include patents, trademarks, trade secrets, technology, know-how, and copyrights. Pat has valued energy- and environmentally-related technologies, and transactions in the oil and natural gas industries.  He was also CEO of a technology firm, Relatable™, that developed early AI and machine listening technologies.  Pat has extensive IP portfolio management, licensing, and negotiation experience, is the current Chair of the AIPPI Standing Committee on IP and Green Technology, and was a lead contributor to its paper "Incentivizing Green Technology Inventions and Innovation—A Global Review [In Light of COVID-19]" published in 2020.  He is the former Chair of the Damages Subcommittee of AIPLA, and publishes and speaks frequently a range of IP issues.
