Camillo, Nick

Nick Camillo is Senior Counsel at the Volkswagen Group of America.  He is a registered patent attorney who started his career prosecuting software patents on behalf of a top Fortune 50 software company. He also has experience prosecuting electrical, mechanical, and biomedical patents. Although starting his legal career in the patent field, His practice has since expanded to include a variety of legal issues, including promotional contracts, federal intellectual property (“IP”) litigation, advertising and marketing counseling, privacy law, search and seizure of counterfeit goods, and domestic and international IP enforcement and portfolio management, among others. Throughout his career, he has always tried to be intentional in using his skills to advocate for social causes important to him, including the provision of adequate legal representation to disadvantaged communities in D.C. He has supported that cause by participating in pro bono cases where he represented clients on Fair Housing Act issues.
