Gadde, Sreekar

Sree is a Managing Partner for BlueTree VC, a Series A investment fund headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA.  As Managing Partner, he leverages his background in engineering, law, and business to assist portfolio companies to efficiently use their capital to bring solutions for unresolved need in large markets.  This involves mentoring portfolio companies to manage their capital runways as they balance spending to bring solutions to market.

Prior to becoming the Managing Partner, Sree worked for BlueTree Capital Group as Executive Director leading the Due Diligence team and assisting in Deal Flow activities.  He serves as a Board Member and Board Observer for multiple high-growth companies as he helps guide their strategic growth in view of the market needs for potential acquirers. 

Sree has also worked as an IP litigator and an IP prosecutor at two top law firms, Ropes and Gray and Sterne Kessler, as well as Assistance Chief IP Counsel for Dynamics, Inc.  In addition, he was a validation engineer and team lead for Intel’s microprocessor design business unit.  Sree’s prior work experience spans various fields including artificial intelligence, data analytics, and ASIC design.                                              

In service to the greater community, Sree is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Carnegie Science Center and a speaker, both nationally and internationally, on topics related to IP Strategy and Strategic Growth. 

Sree holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business, a JD from The George Washington University Law School, a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from CMU, as well as a Bachelor’s in Cognitive Science.
