Kepler, Tracy L

Tracy L. Kepler is the Executive Director of Pilot Legis RPG and an SVP in the Professional Services Group with AON. In those roles, she leads the strategic, operational & external initiatives of a national consortium of mid-sized law firms committed to excellence in professional liability risk management. Tracy oversees all facets of risk management education, supports underwriter negotiations, membership growth & retention, including recruitment of high-potential firms, relationship development with managing partners & general counsel & coordination of rigorous risk-management assessments for prospective & existing members. Prior to this role, Ms. Kepler served as the Director of Risk Control for CNA’s Lawyers Insurance Program leading the lawyers’ professional liability team. Ms. Kepler has also served as the Director of the American Bar Association’s Center for Professional Responsibility (CPR), and for nearly 20 years, Tracy served as a regulator at both the state and federal levels; as an Associate Solicitor in the Office of General Counsel for the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), where she concentrated her practice in the investigation, prosecution and appeal of patent/trademark practitioner disciplinary matters; and as Senior Litigation Counsel for the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission (ARDC), where she investigated and prosecuted cases of attorney misconduct.
