Jamie Leeds is a Vice President and Chief Patent Counsel – Hatch Waxman Litigation at Eli Lilly and Company.

Jamie graduated, magna cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law in 1992 and was admitted to the Indiana State Bar. Jamie is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Jamie’s practice has focused on pharmaceutical patent practice, including patent prosecution, patent oppositions, preparation of research and licensing agreements, and patent litigation. Recently, that practice has focused on the defense of innovator’s patents in Hatch-Waxman litigation. Prior to practicing law, Jamie was an organic chemist in the Lilly Research Laboratories.
