John currently chairs Womble Bond Dickinson’s US Intellectual Property Litigation Group. John’s practice focuses on complex disputes involving trade secret misappropriation, patent infringement, trademark and trade dress infringement, unfair competition, copyright infringement, false advertising, antitrust, and cybersecurity (data breaches). Specifically regarding trade secrets, in addition to many civil matters John has recently worked with the United States Government to protect clients’ interests on the criminal front, including one matter in which a defendant was sentenced to six months in prison. John is ranked by Chambers and the Best Lawyers in America in intellectual property litigation.
