Schiuma, Daniele

Dr. Daniele Schiuma is patent attorney and partner at Müller-Boré & Partner Patentanwälte PartG mbB in Munich, Germany since 1997.

Daniele has studied physics, completing his diploma thesis in particle physics at the International Research Center CERN in Geneva and obtained his doctorate in law at the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Patent, Copyright and Competition Law in Munich. He is particularly active in patent prosecution and opposition proceedings both before the European Patent Office (EPO) and the German Patent and Trademark Office (GPTO), wherein Daniele’s technical specialties include physics, computer-implemented inventions, mechanical engineering, in particular vehicle, engine and transmission technology, athletic equipment technology, and medical device technology. Furthermore, Daniele was appointed as an expert in software patentability for hearings before the German Legislature (Bundestag), and by the Federal Ministry of Justice.
