Stephen Shaw is a Patent Counsel at Google, previously having been the Director of Intellectual Property at Fitbit, where he led Fitbit’s global intellectual property strategy, patent portfolio planning and development, open-source, IP licensing, due diligence, and contractual issues. Prior to joining Fitbit/Google, Stephen was a senior associate at Hogan Lovells. He also served previously as a patent attorney for Adobe, an Open Source Patent Counsel for Qualcomm, and Head IP Counsel for Gracenote.
