Please join AIPLA’s Committees for Patent and Trademark Relations with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on January 13, 2025, to discuss the USPTO fee schedule, which will take effect on January 18 (trademark fees) and January 19 (patent fees), 2025. During the webinar, we will provide an overview of the fee increases and discuss a number of changes associated with the fee schedule. For instance, on the patent side, we will discuss the 7.5% across-the-board increase in fees, as well as fees associated with timing thresholds for continuing applications, and on the trademark side, we will detail the various fee increases and address new fees including the insufficient information fee and free-form text box fee.
