She has crafted patents and negotiated agreements to protect innovation across industries including: medical devices, industrial equipment, telecommunications/software, and consumer electronics.

  David Weirich is Vice President & Associate General Counsel for The Procter & Gamble Company’s global Beauty Care business. P&G is one of the world’s largest consumer products companies with operations in over 180 countries and sales exceeding $76 Billion per year. P&G has an extensive portfolio of intellectual property assets, including patents, designs and many well-known trademarks. David has been in P&G’s Legal Department handling IP matters for over 28 years and throughout his time at P&G has supported each of P&G’s different business units.

This includes protection of USG’s well known SHEETROCK,® DUROCK® and other leading building products and technologies.

  Mr. Patty is a Partner with the law firm Phelps Dunbar LLP. He leads the firm’s Artificial Intelligence Working Group and is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property (IP) and Cybersecurity Practice Groups. A graduate of Tulane University and the University of North Carolina School of Law, he has extensive experience in preparing and prosecuting patents in the chemical, medical device and mechanical fields, as well as the software and financial services fields.
