Judy has been at Microsoft for 12 years and leads the patent team that supports Microsoft’s Office Apps and Cloud business, including patent portfolio development, risk mitigation, open source usage, M&A transactions, IP licensing, strategic partnerships and industry standards activities. Outside of work, Judy enjoys spending time with her family or in the gym as a founding member of Seattle’s first competitive adult gymnastics team.

  Jessica Nguyen is the Chief Legal Officer of Lexion, the simple AI-powered, no-code, intake, workflow, and contract repository – one place to manage all tasks and contracts and replaces 3+ separate tools. Jessica has played an integral role in building the Lexion product, company, and brand. She has an extensive in-house legal career at companies of various sizes and stages and has been the first legal hire that built out the legal function of a company 3 times. Prior to Lexion, she was the General Counsel and first in-house attorney of PayScale, a Microsoft Office 365 attorney, and the first in-house attorney at Avalara. Jessica has been recognized as the 2020 “Startup GC of the Year” by Corporate Counsel magazine, a 2019 Top 100 Legal Influencers by The Business Journals, Best Under 40 by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, and a 2018 Puget Sound Business Journal 40 Under 40.
