We understand that news of these fires might raise concerns about your upcoming travel plans to Greater Palm Springs. We’re writing to reassure you that our destination remains unaffected by the fires currently burning in the Los Angeles area.

 

Greater Palm Springs is approximately a two-hour drive east of Los Angeles, and there are no active fires in our region. While you may have seen reports about a Red Flag Warning for the northern cities of

Greater Palm Springs, this term indicates that conditions in those areas are conducive to fire spread should one occur. It does not mean that there are fires present. The National Weather Service issues these warnings as a precautionary measure, and they are a common occurrence in Southern California during certain weather patterns.

 

We can also share that there are no reported issues affecting flights into Palm Springs International Airport (PSP). Travelers can continue to enjoy easy access to our destination by air. As you prepare for your visit, please know that the safety and well-being of our visitors and residents are our top priorities. Our team is monitoring conditions closely, and we remain in regular communication with local authorities to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
