Metro & Bus Services

National Harbor and the Gaylord National Hotel are connected to the Washington Metro system (Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, or WMATA), via a limited-stop bus route.

 

From DC

The NH1 National Harbor-Southern Avenue Line is an easy way to get between Washington DC and National Harbor.
The metro station served by the NH1 is Southern Avenue Station. 

From Alexandria

The new NH2 National Harbor-Alexandria Line is an easy way to get between Old Town Alexandria and National Harbor.


• 15-minute ride between King St-Old Town Metro Station and MGM National Harbor
• Running every 30 minutes
• 6 a.m. first bus leaves King St-Old Town Metro Station for MGM National Harbor
• 1 a.m. last bus leaves MGM National Harbor for King Street-Old Town

The Metro stations served by the NH2 in the City of Alexandria are King St-Old Town and Eisenhower Ave.
